During your 3 days on the river, enjoy a relaxing and fascinating journey into Ancient Egypt. You'll have a chance to plan your own itinerary with scheduled privately guided tours to include the Valley of the Kings, Karnak, Edfu Temple, Kom Ombo and the beautiful Philae Temple in Aswan. You'll benefit from a qualified Egyptologist as a guide.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Luxor (Meals: Lunch, Dinner)

Board your 5 star boat to begin your Nile Cruise then cross the Nile to Visit the West Bank. Explore the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Your next stop is on the East Bank of Luxor to visit the Karnak Temple. Rest overnight in Luxor with the opportunity to disembark or soak up the lively atmosphere at a sound and light show based at Karnak Temple.

Day 2: Edfu (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) 

As the sun rises you will set sail for Esna and Edfu. Here you can enjoy the fabulous natural landscape of the Nile Valley as you look out over the monumental desert. One by one, the great temples come into view, including the almost completely preserved Edfu Temple of Horus. A great dinner and a peaceful overnight stopover in Edfu follow.

Day 3: Kom Ombo – Aswan (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast on board. The history is brought to life for you as you enjoy an informative guided tour of the Horus Temple in Edfu then sail to Kom Ombo where the unusual and mysterious Kom Ombo Temple is waiting to be discovered. Relax as the sun sets and later on arrive into Aswan under the stars.

Day 4 : Aswan Dam (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After daybreak reveals your new setting in Aswan, enjoy one last delicious breakfast before check-out and transfer to Visit the High Dam. See the Unfinished Obelisk and settle down for lunch in an authentic local restaurant. Finally relax in an air conditioned vehicle for your transfer back to your hotel door in Hurghada.
